We are delighted to announce that, with our upcoming production of Calendar Girls, we will be supporting the Dougie Mac Hospice.

In the spirit of the original venture, Stoke Rep Players are producing their own ‘full-exposure’ calendar for 2023. Our own Calendar Girls will be preparing for their photoshoot shortly and we are pleased to announce that all proceeds from the sale of this calendar will go to Dougie Mac.

Alan Clarke, our Chairman, said: “So many people’s lives are touched by cancer, including a number of current members, and so it was only fitting, in the spirit of the show’s inspirations, that we launch our own ‘Calendar Girls’ initiative. As a local theatre, we especially wish to support other local institutions and so Dougie Mac was a natural choice for us to support, providing, as it does, help to so many people in Stoke and North Staffordshire.”

The Calendar will be on sale throughout the run of Calendar Girls and our following production, The Game’s Afoot. We would encourage as many people as possible to buy a copy and help us to raise money and awareness of this vital charity – Dougie Mac.
