About the play
This comedy centers around John Smith, an “ordinary” London taxi driver who secretly has two wives in two different towns. When John inadvertently blows his own cover, the comic complications multiply.
The action takes place in the Wimbledon flatof John and Mary Smith and, simultaneously, in the Streatham flat of John and Barbara Smith.
