About the play

A serious comedy vividly portraying the staff of a multi-racial comprehensive school regrouping for the autumn term and facing two problems: the redeployment of two members and the arrival of an earnest middle-aged novice teacher who tries hard to ingratiate himself with staff and pupils alike.
