Dear Charles

About the play

A woman with two grown sons and a daughter surprises her children on the eve of one’s marriage with the news that they are all illegitmate, each with a different father. After much ado, they decide to continue as before with the portrait of “Dear Charles” unknown father and patriarch, above the mantle, as ‘father’ to them all.

The action of the play passes in the living-room of the DARVEL’S house in Paris.
