About the play
Set very firmly in the 1970s, the play follows three couples, visiting them once a year in their kitchens on three successive Christmas Eves.
Ayckbourn is, of course, famous as a writer of comedy. However, like much of his best work, this is a dark comedy that makes you laugh and
wince at the same time.
